Our foundation kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness month with our Cheers Jen Cheers event on September 29 at OpenTap. It was a time to celebrate the impact of our mission, support our grantees, and thank our donors and supporters. We had a great time talking with several of our nurse navigators we partner with and catching up with many of our Go Jen Go grantees.
The impact and growth we have celebrated for 2024 (January – June):
- $158,795 granted to breast cancer patients in our community
- 231 grantees supported through our Patient Assistance Program (29% increase since 2023)
- 18 children sent to camp or other programming through our Mood Williams Camp Scholarship Fund
- 78 grantees support through programming from our Day of Hope Event, Run Jen Run 5K & Festival, and other partner events
The day was full of hugs, laughter, and showing thanks to our long time donors, sponsors, and community partners. The event included a fun silent auction to help support our Patient Assistance Program, Mood Williams Scholarship Fund, and Grantee Programming.
