Day of Hope is our annual event for our Go Jen Go grantees who we have supported during the past two years. It is a chance for them to enjoy a day of fellowship, celebration, education and relaxation, and feel the power of connection, community and support.
First Annual Day of Hope 2024
Our inaugural event occurred in June 2024 bringing together over 30 grantees for a day focused on self-care, connection, and holistic care. The day included two speakers (also breast cancer survivors), massages, and art therapy activities.
The event speakers were Dr. Chasse Bailey-Dorton from The After Cancer organization and Lori Sumner with Anchor Health Coaching, who shared their personal stories as breast cancer survivors and their expertise and passion for supporting others fighting breast cancer. Massages were provided by Liz VanEvery of Bodywork + Botanicals and Chanda Jones of CJ Massage for helping our grantees relax and relieve tension through massage.

We also offer quarterly programming to our grantees and are always looking for community partners to offer their space, expertise, or services for one of our events. If you are interested in getting involved with our Grantee Support Programming, contact Jessie at jessie@gojengo.org
