Fundraising

We are grateful for your interest in raising funds and bringing awareness to support our mission. Below are a few ways you can fundraise and we are always open to hearing your ideas and thinking outside of the box.

Host a Fundraiser

Whether through athletic events, lemonade stands, birthday fundraisers, proceeds nights, fundraising parties there are many ways you can support Go Jen Go. We would love to help brainstorm ideas, hear your ideas and help share about your fundraiser.

Gift Card Drive

Gift cards enable us to give immediate and additional support to families. They are helpful in supporting those needing help with transportation to treatments and groceries/necessities for their family. Some examples include, VISA, DoorDash, Mastercard and gas cards. 

Hope in a Box

A breast cancer diagnosis impacts the patient mentally, emotionally, and physically. Our “Hope in a Box” provides essential and comfort items for our grantee’s undergoing treatment. Be a provider of hope for a patient in need. Shop our wish list or contact us for more information.

Fundraiser Guidelines

A wide variety of federal and state laws apply to fundraising and donation efforts and it’s important we adhere to the legal requirements and The Go Jen Go Foundation standards. Any and all fundraising activities and special events must be pre-approved by someone on our team before you can be authorized to use the Go Jen Go name and/or logo. Please review our guidelines below:

 

  • All fundraisers/activities should align with Go Jen Go’s mission and follow all local, state and federal laws
  • If an event will benefit other organizations, we must be informed of all beneficiaries and communication must be clear to the public who all funds raised will support.
  • We would like to review all press releases and public facing communication that uses Go Jen Go’s name.
  • Funds should be presented to Go Jen Go Foundation within 60 days of your event’s conclusion.
  • Go Jen Go Foundation is only responsible for donation receipts for donations made directly to us.
  • Bank accounts may not be opened by anyone using our foundation’s name and Go Jen Go is responsible for depositing checks made out to us.
  • We are not responsible for paying vendors or admin costs for your event or arranging vendors for your event. Nor will we issue insurance coverage or certificates

Once your fundraiser is approved we can collaborate by:

  • Providing our logo, foundation information, brand colors and guidelines.
  • If you would like foundation materials for your event, please let us know at least 14 days in advance and we can try our best to have materials for you to use.
  • Tag us on social media and we are happy to share with our followers and supporters about your event/fundraiser. If we post a follow up or thank you message, we will tag you.
  • If you’d like to have a check/award presentation in person, please let us know and we can schedule a time.
  • We do not share our constituent, grantee or donor lists.
