The 4th Annual Pink Cupcake Walk was a morning full of celebration, remembrance, support, and hope. The event brought together breast cancer survivors, thrivers, fighters, caregivers, supporters, and community partners. Over 1,700 participants walked 4 laps around Truist Field enjoying cupcakes from four local bakeries and then supporters filled the stands to cheer on the breast cancer survivors, thrivers, and fighters as they walked their own lap.

It was so special to look around and see survivors, thrivers, and fighters reunite with each other, make new friends, all while hugging, cheering, and supporting one another. It was a sea full of pink baseball jerseys in the stands and on the baseball field. There were smiles, tears, and many hugs. There was hope, support, and community.

We are so thankful for Molly Grantham and the Taste of Charlotte team, who brought this event to life four years ago and saw this as a great way to support the Go Jen Go mission and local breast cancer community.

We loved seeing so many of our Go Jen Go grantees that morning who stopped by our table to say hello and give hugs, joined in for the group photo, or danced their way around the field. We got to meet many of their family, friends, and support system.

We heard from several survivors and thrivers who shared their story about what the day meant to them. Those stories were full of strength, gratitude, and hope.

We are so grateful for the community and sponsors coming together this day to support our foundation and our mission. Together, the Pink Cupcake Walk raised over $30,000 to support our Patient Assistance Program, which will cover one month of grants for breast cancer patients in the Charlotte community.
