The Go Jen Go Team

Susan Evren

Susan leads the foundation with fearlessness and passion. She met co-founder, Jen Pagani, in 2013 and immediately knew that she wanted to support Jen’s mission through Go Jen Go. Susan’s day-to-day includes everything from partnership calls to storage runs — whatever it takes to support the numerous patients in financial crisis serviced by Go Jen Go each month.

Susan likes to challenge herself with running long distances, including 50K’s in high elevation, and has completed six marathons. She knows that it is a gift to be able to move and gains inspiration from those fighting cancer and other health issues.

Jessie Nash

Jessie leads the patient programming, including our Financial Assistance program, Mood Williams Camp Scholarship Fund and Operation Spread the Joy. She loves connecting with the breast cancer patients we serve to support them, provide programming and connect them with other resources in our community to help them during their breast cancer journey.

Jessie is a native Charlottean, with a background in marketing across nonprofit, higher education and health care sectors. She has volunteered with the foundation since college, was our race director for two years and a former board member. She met Jen and Joe Pagani the summer of 2010 when she became their son’s summer swim coach and built a special friendship with Jen, having lost her mom to cancer a few years earlier. From the first moment, she and Jen chatted, she knew she wanted to support Jen’s mission and help carry her legacy.

Carrie Griffin

Carrie is the Event Coordinator for our fundraising events.  She heads up the Run Jen Run 5K, Cheers Jen Cheers, and logistics for Operation Spread the Joy.  She also helps organize volunteer efforts for beneficiary events throughout the year.  She was first introduced to Go Jen Go through her work with Taste of Charlotte and the Pink Cupcake Walk.

Carrie was born and raised in Charlotte but now lives in the NC mountains with her husband and two boys.  She enjoys event planning and was impacted by the Go Jen Go Foundation at the first Pink Cupcake Walk by the love and support of the breast cancer survivors and fighters.
