Kynslie, 15, was able to complete her driver education summer program through our Mood Williams Camp Scholarship Fund. She is now on her way to getting her driver’s license, which will be a big help for the family. She will be able to run errands and help her mom while she is navigating her breast cancer journey.
Kynslie shared, “Driving school was good. I learned I need to stop second guessing myself, especially when we were practicing parallel parking.”
A Mom’s Reflection
The Go Jen Go Foundation supported Kynslie’s mom, Beatrice, as she went through her treatment for Stage II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Beatrice shared, “This scholarship meant a lot to our family. My daughter was able to do driver education, something I couldn’t afford otherwise. Kynslie is excited about driving and she had so much to share with me after each of her driving sessions.” Beatrice wanted others to know what Go Jen Go meant to her, “Go Jen Go has been a blessing to my family. The resources are so helpful for me while going through such a difficult time in my life.”
From a Child’s Perspective
Kynslie shared, “My mom is strong and I really love when she is able to cook for us.”
Mood’s Fund
